◆ Personal Information Protection Policy

Facio Inc. ("Company") fully understands the importance of protecting personal information which collected from customers and from our officers and employees especially as the company which provides information services on the internet. We will comply with all applicable laws and regulations concerning privacy protection in handling your personal information.

 

Article 1 Collection and Use of Personal Information

After clarifying the purpose of use, we will obtain personal information only within the scope of purpose of use. In addition, regarding the use of the obtained personal information, we shall only use within the purpose of use and take measures for not being used to deviate from the purpose of use.

 

Article 2 Management and Protection of Personal Information

The personal information we retain will be strictly managed, and its data shall not be disclosed or provided to third parties without consent of a customer. In addition, appropriate preventive measures will be taken against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information while taking necessary corrective measures accordingly.

 

Article 3 Governing Law 

We comply with applicable laws and regulations concerning our retained personal information.

 

Article 4 Continuous Improvement of Personal Information Protection Management System and Structure 

We will continuously improve the management system and structure regarding protection of our retained personal information.

 

Article 5 Response to Complaints and Consultations

We established a contact point for personal information protection and will respond in good faith to any complaints or consultations.

◆ Handling of Personal Information

We will handle our retained personal information as follows, and be appreciated your consent to followings at the time of when you provide your personal information.

2. Purpose of Use

The personal information obtained by the Company will be used for the following purposes.

3. Outsourcing

We may outsource the personal information of our service users to outsourced companies after taking protective measures when outsourcing our individual affairs.

 

4. Transfers to Third parties 

We may transfer necessary information under the entrustment from a customer, for a customer to receive our services (BC seminar, Tadamana, or Deliveru), to the Organizer of the webinar which has been applied by a customer through our services, and it is only when a customer wishes to attend the webinar.
We have concluded an agreement with the company to which the personal information is transferred.

[1] The purpose of using customer information at the Organizer is as follows.

・ To provide webinar 

・ To respond to inquiries from customers to the Organizer

・ For email delivery and parcel or mail delivery for the purpose of providing information that the Organizer deems useful to customers

[2] The breakdown of "Organizer", the items of personal data to be provided, and the acquisition method are as follows

 

・ BC seminar

Destination: The Organizer you applied for the webinar

Personal data items: Name, home address, phone number, email address, company name, job title, department name

Acquisition method: Download from the management screen for the Organizer of the webinar

 

・ Tadamana

Destination: To the Organizer you applied for the webinar

Personal data items: Name, home address, phone number, email address

Acquisition method: Download from the management screen for the Organizer of the webinar

 

・ Deliveru

Destination: To the Organizer you applied for the webinar 

Personal data items: Name, home address, phone number, email address, company name, job title, department name

Acquisition method: Download from the management screen for the Organizer of the webinar

(2) We will not disclose or provide the personal information of the customer to a third party except when providing it to outsourcing businesses or in any of the following cases.

① When the customer's prior consent / consent is obtained

② When requests with legal obligation are received from a Judicial Agency or an Administrative Agency based on laws and regulations

③ When there is an imminent danger to human life and body and property, etc. and urgent need, and difficulty for obtaining consent from the person in question

④ When a person is entrusted by National Institution or a local public body to cooperate in carrying out the affairs stipulated in laws and regulations. Add to this, when it is considered that by obtaining consent of a customer may have any risks of hindering the relevant affairs to perform

⑤ When entrusting all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope of the specified purpose of use

⑥ When providing with the succession of business due to merger or other freedom

 

5. Transfer of acquired information to third parties located in foreign countries 

We may transfer information about our customers to foreign entities that provide cloud services, etc.

6. Joint Use of Personal Information 

We shall not share our retained personal information.

 

7. Pseudonymized information

(i) When we create Processed Pseudonym Information, we shall process personal information in accordance with the standards set forth in laws and regulations.

(ii) When we create Processed Pseudonym Information, we will take measures for the security management of such Processed Pseudonym Information.

(iii) The Company shall enter into an agreement with the seminar sponsor and take protective measures before processing pseudonymized information (excluding information that falls under the category of personal information). (iii) We will provide the pseudonymized information (excluding personal information) after entering into an agreement with the seminar organizer and taking protective measures.

(iv) In handling Processed Pseudonymized Information, we will not cross-check the Processed Pseudonymized Information with other information in order to identify the individual whose personal information was used to create the Processed Pseudonymized Information.

(v) When there is no longer a need to use personal data that is Processed Pseudonymized Information, we will endeavor to delete such personal data and deleted information, etc. without delay.

(vi) We will take necessary and appropriate measures for the secure management of the Pseudonymous Processed Information, handle complaints regarding the creation or other handling of the Pseudonymous Processed Information, and take any other necessary measures to ensure the proper handling of the Pseudonymous Processed Information, and will endeavor to publicly announce the details of such measures.

 

8. Disclosure, Correction, Deletion of Personal Information 

We maintain our retained personal information to be accurate and updated. In addition, if the person requests disclosure, correction, deletion of our retained personal information and notification of purpose of use, after confirming that the person who made the request is the person in question, within a reasonable range to respond. If you wish to disclose, correct, delete, or notify us of purpose of use of your personal information, please contact us to the contact information below.

 

9. Security Control Measures

We will take appropriate technical measures to protect personal information from risks such as unauthorized access, falsification, leakage, or loss. In addition, we have internal policies in place to ensure the Company officers and employees and outsourced companies are informed and we continuously review and improve them.

 

10. Revision of Personal Information Protection Policy

We may revise our privacy policy in order to protect personal information and to respond to changes in laws and regulations and other norms. If there are any revisions on this policy, we will inform you them on our web site.

11. Disagree on the Handling

Please note that we may restrict your usage of our service with your disagreement on the handling of personal information.

 

12. Suspension or Deletion of Usage

Concerning our retained personal information, if you wish to suspend usage or delete your personal information, after confirming the person who requested is in the person, and then we will suspend usage or delete within a reasonable period and range. In addition, you may not be provided any services which you wish to receive, when you suspend usage or delete part or all your personal information. (Note that our retained information in accordance with relevant laws and regulations may not be allowed to respond to your requests for suspension of use or deletion.)
